Blog Post 5 - The Way I Want To Learn

Obviously in this picture you see an engaged classroom listening to a teacher's lecture. But is there a better way he could teach his students? Could he possibly engage them more to where each could learn to his/her full potential?

Recently a student named Jeff Bliss made a rant against his lazy high school teacher.I truly can admit that i'm on his side. From his super-intend-ant's perspective he says that he understands where jeff is coming from but believes jeff could've done it in a better manner. This is true but it shows how far a student's voice can go.

News reporters everywhere were trying to interview jeff on this, what i'd call, spectacular event. But the first news cast to interview was news 8. Their brief interview revealed that jeff wasn't ashamed. i'm truly glad he feels this way because i wouldn't if i'd said it.

But the topic "THE WAY I WANT TO LEARN" still comes to mind. I want to be able to moniter my own due homework. Unlike the current system where "Teachers" assign the work, it seems to much of a dictatorship. For example my computer teacher has a wonderful system to where we can moniter our own work and are e-mailed the assignments.

It's truly wonderful the possibilities we have with technology we just need to
